“carrier” means any person or business contracted by us to carry goods from us to you, whether all or part of the distance.

“goods” means any of the goods we offer for sale on our website.

Order and Goods
We shall accept your order by e-mail confirmation. Our e-mail will also confirm details of your purchase and advise you of your order status. That is when our contract is made. It is possible that the price may have increased from that posted on our web site.
If we do not have the goods you order available, we will offer you alternatives before we despatch your order. If this happens you may:
a. Accept the alternatives we offer.
b. Cancel your order.
c. Leave the order valid, but tell us to omit the unavailable item.
If we owe you money (for this or any other reason), we will credit your credit or debit card as soon as reasonably practicable but in any event no later than 30 days from the date of your order.
All goods have been fairly described and shown including sizes. The colours you see on screen will depend on your computer's monitor settings. Consequently there may be a slight difference between the goods you receive and the image on your screen.
Copyright for the original images remains with Cornwallis Images. You may not reproduce the work in any form without a written licence from us.
At our discretion and without assigning a reason, we may refuse or delay serving an order. To assist with any queries relating to your order, please ensure that your correct contact details are provided.
Image Sizes
Images are printed on paper measuring:-
a) 42cm (length) x 29cm (height) (A3) for landscape
29cm (length) x 42cm (height) (A3) for portrait
b) 59cm (length) x 42cm (height) (A2) for landscape
42cm (length) x 59cm (height) (A2) for portrait
Depending on the type of camera used, some marginal trimming of paper may be required. The sizes given here are before trimming.
Price and Payment
You must pay us the full price of your order before we will send any part of it.
Banking charges by the receiving bank on payments to us will be borne by us. All other charges relating to payment in a currency other than pounds Sterling (GBP) will be borne by you.
Any details given by us in relation to exchange rates are approximate only and may vary from time to time.
Taxes, duties and import restrictions
We have no knowledge of, and no responsibility for, the laws in your country of residence.
You are responsible for purchasing goods which you are lawfully able to import and for the payment of import duties and taxes of any kind levied in your country of residence.
Delivery
Deliveries will be made by the carrier to the address stipulated in your order. You must ensure that someone is present to accept delivery.
If we are not able to deliver your goods within 30 days of the date of your order, we shall notify you by e-mail to make alternative arrangements.
We may deliver the goods in instalments if the goods are not available at the same time for delivery.
Delivery charges are based on the size of the work, its weight, and the delivery destination.
Goods will normally be delivered within 7 - 21 days, but we will not be liable for any delay in delivering the goods within this time or at all. We will not be liable for any delay in providing goods caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will insure the goods for the full value of the order up to the time delivery is accepted at the specified delivery address.
You will be required to sign for the goods to confirm delivery of your order.
Once the goods are delivered it is your responsibility to ensure their care and conservation, including ensuring that the appropriate heating, humidity and lighting conditions are provided.
Cancellation of Orders and Returns
We provide a bespoke service and all our prints are done to order, so you may not cancel orders, we would only allow a cancellation if the order has not yet gone to print, if this is the case we will refund you in full. You would have to contact us within 24 hours of order being placed to see if a cancellation would be accepted.
Should the goods arrive damaged you must inform us by e-mail within 48 hours of receipt. You would have to send the goods back to us and once we have received these and checked the damage then we will refund you in full or replace the order if available. After we have received the goods, and you wish a refund, then we will credit your credit or debit card with the full purchase price of the goods returned no later than 30 days from the date of receipt. If we are not informed within 48 hours of order receipt, we shall have no liability for the goods alleged to be damaged.
System Security
You agree that you will not, and will not allow any other person to, violate or attempt to violate any aspect of the security of our website.
You agree that you will in no way modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, copy, or cause damage or unintended effect to any portion of our website, or any software used on our website, and that you will not permit any other person to do so.
You understand that any such violation is unlawful in many jurisdictions and that any contravention of law may result in criminal prosecution.
Examples of violations are:
a. Accessing data unlawfully or without consent.
b. Attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures.
c. Attempting to interfere with service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, "flooding", "mail bombing" or "crashing".
d. Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting.
e. Taking any action in order to obtain goods to which you are not entitled.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim or demand, including reasonable lawyers’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of:
a. Any violation of system security as set out above.
b. Your use of our website.
c. Any other breach or violation of this agreement by you.
Disclaimers
We reserve the right to make adjustments to goods and their prices to take into account any changes from our suppliers, or if there is an error or omission in the price published on our web site. In this instance we will inform you of the correct price and ask you to confirm the order.
If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid or unenforceable for any reason, that condition shall be deemed not to form part of this agreement and the enforceability of the remainder of this agreement shall not be affected.
We are not liable in any circumstances for special, indirect or consequential loss or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, loss of data or loss of revenues or profits, whether in an action of contract, negligence or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or the purchase of goods.
In any claim against us our liability is limited to the value of the goods you have purchased in the contract which is the subject of the dispute.
We may change these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to you are those posted here on our website on the day you order goods.
